Vines Music Shows Love, Joy Fills Huiling Garden – Guangzhou Vinesmusic Charity Event Concludes Warmly

On July 24, 2025, employees of Vinesmusic, carrying carefully prepared musical instruments and fruits, braved the scorching sun to walk into this special needs school. With the theme “Vines Music Shows Love, Joy Fills Huiling Garden”, they launched a half-day charity event. From the laughter in the classroom to the focused collaboration at the craft tables, from the passionate drumbeats to the gentle piano notes, this gathering, connected by music, made every participant feel the power of art to transcend barriers, and let the light of corporate social responsibility shine into the growth world of special needs children.

I. Artistic Integration: Building a Bridge of Communication with Music

The event kicked off in the classroom of Huiling No.1 School. As soon as Vinesmusic employees entered the classroom, they were attracted by the photos of the children on the wall, which silently told of their yearning for beauty. At the start of the event, employees led the children in a hand exercise interaction. “Little hands, little hands, raise them up; little hands, little hands, wave them around,” the employees sang while demonstrating, combining the crisp sound of clapping palms with the heavy rhythm of stamping feet. The initially shy children gradually let go of their shyness, broke into bright smiles, and followed the rhythm to complete the whole set of movements.
In warm response, the students of Huiling No.1 School had long lined up waiting. At the teacher’s order, the children raised their drumsticks, and the Chinese drum performance suddenly started. The drumbeats went from sparse to dense, from soft to passionate. In the children’s straight backs and focused eyes, there was a firmness beyond their age. Although their left hands were not very flexible, they always kept accurate rhythms. The sweat beads on their foreheads reflected the sunlight, as if coating the performance with a layer of golden light. When the performance ended, Vinesmusic employees stood up spontaneously to applaud.
Next was the ukulele playing and singing session. Two supervisor sisters, Estella and Effy, sat in the middle of the stage, their fingertips plucking the strings and playing Listen to Me, Thank You. All employees also joined in the chorus. When it came to the chorus part, the children hummed along with the melody. Though their voices were faint, they made everyone present’s eyes well up with tears.

II. Crafting with Ingenuity: Creativity and Companionship in Pan Flutes

The handcraft area was already set with carefully prepared pan flutes for the students. Vinesmusic employees divided the children into six groups, with two employees assigned to each group, teaching everyone to make pan flutes hand in hand. The employees patiently demonstrated for the children, deliberately slowing down their movements. During the assembly process, with care and patience, the employees and students finally successfully completed their own works.
The students excitedly played unmelodious tunes on their pan flutes. The sound of air flowing through the pipes mixed with their laughter, becoming the most touching movement on the scene. Employees took out their mobile phones one after another to record these moments. In the camera, the children’s smiling faces and the pan flutes in their hands complemented each other. In this one-hour handcraft time, there was no boundary between special and ordinary, only focused eyes and warm companionship.

III. Music Lasts Forever: Donations Open the Door to Musical Dreams

At 3 p.m., Vinesmusic employees brought the carefully prepared ukuleles, kalimbas and other musical instruments to the craft tables. For them, these instruments are not just teaching aids, but keys to opening a new world.
“We specially chose kalimbas with rounded edges to avoid scratching the children; the mouthpieces of the kazoos were thickened to make it easier for children with oral muscle incoordination to use; the length of the pan flute pipes was adjusted to be more suitable for small hands to hold.”

IV. Echoes of Public Welfare: Letting Love and Music Grow Continuously

Founded in 1990, Guangzhou Huiling No.1 School is one of the earliest institutions in South China focusing on special needs children’s education. Currently, the 86 students in the school cover various disabilities such as autism, Down syndrome and cerebral palsy. The school adheres to the educational concept of “healing the soul through art” and offers special courses such as music and painting, but due to limited funds, art education resources have always been scarce.
Vinesmusic’s charity event was no accident. “As a well-known musical instrument manufacturer in South China, we do public welfare not for publicity, but because we deeply understand the power of music. Special needs children may have obstacles in language expression, but music can become their other language.”
“Playing the kazoo requires abdominal strength, which can help children with cerebral palsy exercise their core muscles; pressing chords on the ukulele can improve the hand coordination of autistic children.”

Conclusion

As the sun set, the event came to an end with a chorus. This charity event was like a stone thrown into the center of a lake – with music as the center, it rippled out circles of love and acceptance. Vinesmusic has proved with practical actions that corporate social responsibility is not a slogan, but a persistence integrated into daily life. Just as the slogan on the wall of Huiling No.1 School’s teaching building says: “Because of you, it’s wonderful.” Vinesmusic’s act of love has added the warmest melody to this movement.
